I’ve Always Been Creative

I started woodburning back in 2016, and one creative hobby quickly turned into another. I learned new skills, added new machines, and eventually realized making things is just part of who I am.

Then I Had Kids

Becoming a mom in 2022 completely changed what I wanted from my business. I stepped away from selling physical products and started designing digital files instead, giving me more freedom to create and more time with my family.

Now I Make for Them

These days, so many of my ideas start with my kids. I make the things I want them to play with and learn from, then turn those ideas into files so you can make them for your kids too.

I currently have two Snapmaker U1s and two Bambu Lab printers, an A1 and an A2L. I use all four pretty regularly, but for different things. My Bambu printers handle a lot of my single-color printing, while my U1s are my go-to for multicolor.

If you’re brand new to 3D printing, I think Bambu Lab is a great place to start. The A1 is affordable, beginner-friendly, and really easy to get up and running. Their software and app make the whole process pretty painless too.

If you plan to print a LOT of multicolor, I love my Snapmaker U1s. They have four separate toolheads, so multicolor prints are much faster and produce very little filament waste compared to a single-nozzle system. There’s a little more to learn, but the U1 was actually my first 3D printer and I had no problem learning on it.

I use and recommend both. For me, it really comes down to what you plan to print most.

My primary laser is an Aeon Mira 9, and I love it. It has a large bed, it’s fast, and it has been an incredibly reliable machine for me.

I also own a Glowforge Pro, which was my very first laser back in 2018. I don’t use it nearly as much anymore, but it’s the machine that started this whole laser-cutting rabbit hole for me.

Almost everything starts in Adobe Illustrator. I use it for all of my 2D design work, including my laser files and the artwork that eventually becomes a 3D design.

For 3D files, I take those designs into Shapr3D to turn them into actual 3D models. So my basic workflow is Illustrator first, then I go from there depending on what I’m making.

I’m always happy to take ideas and requests! I keep a running list of things people would love to see, and I pull from that list when I’m planning new designs.

I don’t currently take commissioned custom work or guarantee that a request will be made by a certain date. If I decide to create something from a request, the finished file will also be added to my shop.

I don’t currently offer exclusive licensing. My designs are created for my shop and may be purchased and used by multiple customers according to the license included with the file.

Yes, with the appropriate commercial license! Many of my files have both personal and commercial licensing options. Commercial licensing allows you to sell physical products you make using my designs, while the digital files themselves cannot be shared, resold, or redistributed.
